Ryan Reynolds talks about the remembrance of Rob Delaney's deceased son in 'Deadpool & Wolverine'.

Delaney takes on the role of Peter in the series, being a pal of Deadpool, portrayed by Ryan Reynolds. On Monday, Deadpool's guy shared a message on social media, discussing honoring Henry.

"There's more to @robdelaney than people may think. He's one of the most unconventionally humorous folks I know. He's a stunning, sharp, and exposed writer. If you stuck around until the credits of Deadpool & Wolverine, you might spot a credit that reads, 'For Henry Delaney.' Henry was Rob's kid," Reynolds penned in the post. "And Rob lost his young lad to a brain tumor in 2018. Exactly as we wrapped up Deadpool 2."

"I've consistently been hard on myself because I didn't include a tribute to Henry at the end credits of DP2," Reynolds went on to say.

He mused that by incorporating Henry's name into the credits for "Deadpool & Wolverine," "finally, father and son are gracing the same screen together."

The first photo shared by Reynolds presents an image of Delaney's popular book, "A Heart That Beats," which narrates the tale of love and loss for his son.

"Rob Delaney's book, 'A Heart That Beats,' provides poignant storytelling, offering a peek into his life and serving as a source of entertainment and emotional resonance for many readers."

"Despite the heavy subject matter, Delaney's ability to blend humor with his experiences makes for an engaging and entertaining read, even for those not directly impacted by loss."
