Russia voices concerns over potential terrorist actions by the so-called "Kiev government".

It seems Russia is facing attacks from Ukraine once more, claims the Ministry of Defense. They state that air defense systems are successfully taking down numerous drones, thus preventing "terrorist actions" on Russian territory. However, Ukraine refutes these allegations.

Reports say that Russian air defense forces have neutralized 31 Ukrainian drones across various regions in Russia, including Crimea - annexed by Russia in 2014. During the night, supposed Ukrainian attempts to use drones for attacks in Russian territory were thwarted, as per the Russian Ministry of Defense via Telegram.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported destroying twelve drones over the Belgorod border region, eight more drones in the Kursk border region, and four in neighboring Lipetsk region. Additionally, seven drones and four Storm Shadow cruise missiles were destroyed over Crimea.

Ukraine's intelligence sources allege that these drones caused fires at an oil depot and power substation in Belgorod and Lipetsk regions. Attacks have also targeted the "Oskolneftesnab" oil depot in Belgorod and the "Yeletskaya" electricity substation in Lipetsk. These Russian industries, entangled in the war against Ukraine, are deemed legitimate targets, claim intelligence sources.

Simultaneously, the death toll in Belgorod, Russia, has reportedly risen due to the collapse of a high-rise building. The Russian Ministry of Civil Defense states 15 people lost their lives whilst Russian news agencies note 20 injured, among them is a missing child.

Russia accuses Ukraine of the building collapse. The Russian Ministry of Defense believes a piece of debris from an intercepted Tochka-U missile caused the damage, a claim yet to be independently confirmed. The Ukrainian side has yet to comment on the situation. President Putin has been apprised of the incident by the Kremlin.

Update: Even more casualties in Belgorod

Following the collapse of a multi-story building in Belgorod, Russia, the death toll continues to rise. The Russian Ministry of Civil Defense reports 15 fatalities while Russian news outlets cite 20 injured, including a missing child.

Russia has attributed the collapsed building to Ukraine, as they believe fragments of an intercepted Tochka-U missile caused the damage. The claim remains unverified. Ukrainian officials have given no comment on the matter. The Kremlin has confirmed that Putin has been notified of the incident.
