Royal-Fans demand justice for the little prince

Princess Charlotte is allowed to attend the Wimbledon-Final. Prince George travels with his father to the EM-Final in Berlin. But Prince Louis stays at home. Unfair, say fans of the British Royal Family and demand justice for the Mini-Royal.

It was a particularly sporty weekend for the royal up-and-coming generation: On Sunday afternoon, Princess Kate attended the Men's Final of Wimbledon with her daughter Princess Charlotte. In the same evening, Prince William and Prince George supported the English football national team at the EM-Final against Spain in the Berlin Olympic Stadium. And only a few weeks ago, the nine-year-old Charlotte and the one-year-older George were allowed to attend Taylor Swift's concert in London's Wembley Stadium with their father. They even managed to get a joint selfie with the US superstar. However, one member of the line of succession has been missing from such events in recent years: Baby Prince Louis.

Through his mischievous and humorous demeanor at various royal events, the Six-year-old has endeared himself to fans in the past few years. His absence at an event is noticed. Many Royal fans find it unfair that his older siblings are taken along while he stays home. They are now jokingly demanding "Justice for Prince Louis".

Already, the first funny memes are circulating through social media. One X-user shared a video of a boy wildly dancing in a living room and singing off-key loudly. "Princess Charlotte: at the Wimbledon Final, Prince George: at the EM-Final, Prince Louis: alone at home", he wrote with a wink to the post.

The last public appearance for the Six-year-old was at "Trooping the Colour", the annual birthday parade for King Charles III., in mid-June on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

For the EM-Final, Louis had to stay home

Princess Kate revealed in 2023 that it had made Prince Louis "very sad" that he missed the Wimbledon Final. At that time, Kate and William sat with Charlotte and George in the Royal Box. It remains unclear why the little royal was not allowed to attend the tennis tournament this time either. A possible reason: For Kate, it is only her second public appearance of the year, as she announced in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer.

However, it remains unclear why Prince William did not take his youngest with him to Berlin. The EM-Final took place at 21 hours, which is quite late for a six-year-old, but the royal children are currently on summer vacation and so Prince Louis was allowed to stay home and watch the match together with his older sister Charlotte on TV. Princess Kate posted a photo of the children in soccer jerseys with their names on the back from their living room.

Despite his popularity and previous engaging appearances, Prince Louis was unable to attend the EURO 2024 Final with his father and older brother, instead staying at home. This decision sparked a light-hearted outcry from fans, who jokingly referred to it as "Justice for Prince Louis."

In a heartfelt revelation, Princess Kate shared in 2023 that Prince Louis felt sad about missing the Wimbledon Final, an experience he enjoyed in the past. This time around, however, the reasons for his absence remained unclear, with Kate's recovery from cancer possibly playing a role.

Showing their support for England's soccer team, both Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis donned team jerseys with their names on the back, sharing the excitement of the match from their living room, as Princess Kate captured the special moment in a photo.
