Robbie Williams delightedly plants a kiss on a Green Party Politician
Pop music sensation Robbie Williams left a Green political figure in Hamburg utterly elated after planting a kiss and performing for her during a concert in the city. Jenny Jasberg, a longtime admirer of the British pop star and co-leader of the Hamburg Greens, was in the front row for the show.
Posting on Instagram following the concert, the 41-year-old Jasberg praised her encounter with the singer, writing, "Robbie Williams remembered my name, kissed me, dedicated 'She's the one' to me... I'm all set for retirement now. Is there anything else?" An Instagram video of her post shows Williams taking her hand, whispering "Jenny, Jenny, Jenny," and asking if he could dedicate the song to her while thanking her with a "You're a Sweetie." He concluded the exchange with a passionate peck on the cheek.
"...He stood with me for nearly three minutes"
Officials from the Green faction confirmed that Jasberg has been a devoted fan of Williams and his former group Take That for years. Speaking to Bild, Jasberg shared, "Robbie stood and chatted with me and my companions for almost three minutes. He was full of jokes. Quite the entertainer."
The two-hour performance by Williams drew an estimated 25,000 fans to the Hamburg harness racing track, with access to the singer reserved exclusively for customers of the Hamburger Sparkasse Haspa.
Jasberg has been a member of the Greens since 2003, having secured her seat in the Hamburg Parliament through a direct mandate in the Bergedorf constituency in 2020. Currently, she serves as co-leader of her party alongside Dominik Lorenzen.
