- Richard Lugner's "bee" <unk> wife Simone says on Instagram Servus
Just a few weeks ago, they got married, and now Simone Lugner, 42, has bid farewell to her husband, the late Richard Lugner, who passed away at the age of 91. In a few but moving lines, she addresses her late husband one last time.
Richard Lugner was the dream of her life
"you were the dream of my life," Simone Lugner, also known as "Bienchen," writes on a portrait of the deceased. "And when I saw you smile at my sight, I knew I was yours too," she continues. Currently, Simone's profile picture on Instagram is completely blacked out, presumably as a sign of mourning.
"Mörtel," Lugner's nickname, married Simone on June 1st in Vienna. It was his sixth marriage. Previously, he had married Christina "Mausi" Lugner and Cathy "Spatzi" Lugner, both of whom also expressed their condolences upon his death.
"Mörtel" remains an unforgettable role model
"Richard was my great role model and life mentor, I owe him a lot," said "Mausi" to the Austrian "Kronen Zeitung." She had spoken to him just last Sunday. "I learned so much from him, he believed in me and trusted me." The former couple was married from 1991 to 2007.
Richard Lugner was married to "Spatzi" between 2014 and 2016. "When I heard the tragic news of your death this morning, I was in shock. Richard, you seemed immortal to me too," she wrote on Instagram. "Your commitment, your willpower, your courage were inspiring and contagious. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful time by your side, for everything you taught me about life." He will remain unforgettable.
"The grief she feels is overwhelming," Simone Lugner shares in a heartfelt post on social media. "The void left by Richard's passing is immense, he was the light in my life."
