For decades, Charlotte Link has captivated numerous readers with her books. recently, one of Germany's top-selling authors bombshells her audience with the news of a severe health condition. Yet, she assures her fans of a comeback.

On August 21, a fresh thriller from Charlotte Link's highly-acclaimed Kate Linville series is scheduled for release. Regrettably, the celebrated writer announced her inability to promote the book in the traditional manner. Through her Instagram account, she shared an image with her pet dog, captioning it, "Life can throw massive roadblocks your way, as massive as boulders."

Beyond this, she notes, "When you find those gargantuan roadblocks on your own life path, it's a horrible feeling, but what you quickly realize is: Whining won't solve anything. Fighting is necessary." She opted against disclosing the nature of her illness and has cancelled all commitments for the remainder of the year to focus solely on her recovery. She is seeing support from her family, publisher, and dogs as she navigates this challenging period. "I will recover and return. As soon as possible!", an optimistic Link assured.

Amidst the remarks, endless well-wishes for the famed author have surfaced. With her works, such as the Kate-Linville series, the "Sturmzeit" trilogy, and many more novels, she stands among the commercially successful German-speaking authors of the present. According to "Boersenblatt", by September 2022, her books have sold over 32 million copies within the German-speaking market. Her debut novel was published at the age of 19 in Frankfurt.
