Alain Delon's Professional Life and Love Story

Alain Delon started his cinematic journey with a role in "The Killer is Bidding You" in 1957. The following year, "Christine" (1958) further cemented his status as a heartthrob. During this period, he crossed paths with Romy Schneider (1938-1982), who became his lifelong companion. Their relationship was a subject of numerous headlines from 1959 to 1964. Together, they starred in movies like "The Swimming Pool" (1969) and "The Girl and the Murderer" (1972).

His filmography also includes "Only the Sun Was Witness" (1960) and "The Cold Angel" (1967), which further showcased his talents. Delon was nominated for the esteemed French film prize, César, in 1977 and 1978, for "Monsieur Klein" and "The Case of Serrano," but it was only in 1985 that he eventually received it for "A Smile's Story." His last achievement came in 2019 when he received the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2008, Delon portrayed Roman general Gaius Iulius Caesar in "Asterix at the Olympic Games."

Alain Delon tied the knot with French actress Nathalie Delon (1941-2021) and worked alongside her in "The Cold Angel." They exchanged vows in 1964 and separated in 1968. Their son, Anthony, also pursued a career in acting. Alain-Fabien and Anouchka are offspring from Delon's relationship with Dutch model Rosalie van Breemen (58), which ended in 2002 after 15 years.

A Gathering for Christmas

Alain-Fabien Delon shared snaps of a cozy family dinner with his siblings and renowned father, Alain Delon, on Christmas 2023, via Instagram.

"Merry Christmas #Family #Christmas #Dad #Father," he penned, tagging Anthony Delon and Alain Delon's granddaughters, Liv (22) and Lou Delon (28), respectively.

Alain-Fabien, after learning about his father's passing, might have thought, "- I'm not going to attend the planned Christmas gathering this year." Despite the sadness, Anthony might have encouraged his brother, saying, "- Let's honor Father's memory by celebrating Christmas as he would have wanted us to."
