"The Frosty Charmer" was a career-defining role for the renowned French actor. Known for his ruthless actions, he left critics and audiences in awe. According to French news agency AFP, he passed away at the ripe age of 88, as confirmed by his three children.
"Alain Fabien, Anouchka, Anthony, and Loubo (the dog) are heartbroken to share the news of their father's demise," they stated collectively. He passed away peacefully at his residence in Douchy, with his three children and family by his side.

Over five decades, the charming actor featured in over 80 films, including remarkable productions such as "Only the Sun Was a Witness", "Borsalino", and "The Panther". His fame skyrocketed with "The Frosty Charmer", directed by Jean-Pierre Melville.
With the 1967 crime thriller, Delon solidified his image as a relentless assassin and emotionless heartthrob who charms everyone while loving none: as a gangster in "Silent as the Night" (1963), as a boxer in "Rocco and His Brothers" (1960), as an icy seducer in "The Sicilian Clan" (1969), and as a ruthless killer in "Only the Sun Was a Witness" (1960).
