Actor Will Ferrell Makes Headlines. - Relatives attend the movie's debut with him.
Will Ferrell (56) turned the premiere of his new film "Simply Irreplaceable 4" in New York City into a family event. Joining him on the red carpet were his mother Betty Kay Overman (83), wife Viveca Paulin (55), and their two sons Magnus (20) and Axel Ferrell (14).
Will Ferrell and Swedish actress Viveca Paulin have been married since 2000 and share three sons - Mattias (17) was absent from the event.
Ferrell didn't only walk the red carpet as a proud family man, but also jokingly campaigned for the title of "Sexiest Man Alive" on "People" magazine's iconic cover. He teased, "I'm planting the seeds because you've never had a comedian before. Is everything internally in order? Sexiest Man."
Dressed casually and confidently, Ferrell sported a pair of dark sunglasses, a beige Adidas training jacket with an upturned collar, black pants, and white sneakers. He played up the idea of a "sexy villain," saying, "I'm a sexy, soccer-playing villain." After laying the groundwork for his "Sexiest Man Alive" campaign with his not-so-subtle comments, Ferrell simply stated, "Come on. Choose a comedian."
It's worth mentioning that no comedian has graced the cover before, but Paul Rudd (55) was named "Sexiest Man Alive" in 2021. The event was also attended by Ferrell's co-stars and colleagues from the current film, Kristen Wiig (50), Steve Carell (61), and Joey King (24).
