Former Formula-1 driver Ralf Schumacher, 49, and his partner Etienne have shown their excitement over the responses to their romantic Instagram post. "Ralf & Etienne are overwhelmed by the many wonderful, worldwide comments. Nobody could have expected this," a family spokesperson told the German Press Agency in response to inquiries.
Schumacher had shown himself in an Instagram post arm in arm with a man and publicly came out as gay. "The best thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side, with whom you can share everything," wrote the brother of Formula-1 record world champion Michael Schumacher.

Schumacher was previously also successful as a race car driver. He started in 180 Formula-1 races, six of which he finished as the winner.
