The wrestling community is in mourning over the demise of Sidney Eudy (1960–2024). The American grappler perished at the age of 63. His son Gunnar broke the news on August 26 via social media: "I'm compelled to share that my dad, Sid Eudy, has bid farewell after a prolonged struggle with cancer. He was a man brimming with power, compassion, and affection, and we'll miss him profoundly." The family expresses their gratitude "for your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this grief. Known monikers for Eudy include Lord Humongous, Sid Vicious, Sid Justice, and Sycho Sid, and he kickstarted his wrestling journey in the 1980s. Various wrestling promotions like World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) welcomed him. He penning a contract with WWE in 1991, where he clashed against giants such as Hulk Hogan (71). He clinched the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship multiple times. In 2001, he endured a grave injury at WCW. He resurfaced in WWE in 2012, closing a 15-year chapter with a brief appearance on Monday Night RAW that same year. Eudy departs behind his spouse and two sons.
