Princess Anne has been admitted to the hospital.

The British royal family has endured a series of hardships lately. After the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, the ongoing spat with Prince Harry, and the cancer diagnoses of King Charles III and Princess Kate, another unfortunate incident involves Princess Anne. As reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail," Princess Anne was hurt and hospitalized.

At present, King Charles III is handling more duties himself. However, due to his cancer, he occasionally requires public representation. In such situations, his sister Anne can step up. Unfortunately, she too seems to be unwell. According to the "Daily Mail," Princess Anne was injured in an incident involving a horse at her private estate, Gatcombe Park, located in the southwestern English county of Gloucestershire. Reports suggest that the horse might have trampled the Princess. Upon arrival, paramedics treated her at the scene, but later she was transported to a hospital in Bristol for further examinations, treatment, and monitoring.

Buckingham Palace made a statement, as reported by the "Daily Mail," stating that Anne had suffered "minor head injuries" and a concussion. It is predicted that she will recover promptly and fully.

Horses have always been her passion

"The King has been informed. The entire royal family extends heartfelt affection and well wishes for a swift recovery to the Princess," the Palace statement further read.

Princess Anne is two years younger than Charles and has younger brothers Andrew and Edward.

Ever since her childhood, Princess Anne has shown an ardent interest in horses and equestrian sports. She studied at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, and competed as an eventing rider in the Olympics.
