Prince William serves Christmas dinner for the needy

"In a modern and progressive society, everyone should have a safe home," says Prince William. Accordingly, he is also committed to helping those in need. A few days before Christmas, he surprisingly attends a Christmas party for the homeless.

Prince William, heir to the British throne, unexpectedly attended the Christmas party organized by the charity The Passage. Kensington Palace posted pictures of the feeding of the homeless on Instagram. The son of King Charles III lent a hand himself and donned a kitchen apron over his green sweater so that he could better prepare the food for the needy.

The food served included turkey with roast potatoes and Brussels sprouts and other delicacies suitable for the Christmas season. The 43-year-old Prince of Wales then sat down to chat with the guests. Kensington Palace also confirmed the Prince's visit to The Passage on X, where he also shared a one-minute video of the celebration.

Prince William has been a patron of The Passage for many years and visited the charity organization as an eleven-year-old with his mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997), in the 1990s to take part in the Christmas dinners. William has long been committed to fighting poverty. At the beginning of the year, he announced a multi-million aid fund to end homelessness within five years.

In the summer, he fleshed out his plans. "In a modern and progressive society, everyone should have a safe home, be treated with dignity and receive the support they need," said Prince William at the launch of his "Homewards" program in June. He firmly believes in achieving his goals. In the latest post about his visit to The Passage, he echoed this sentiment, writing on Instagram: "Together we can end homelessness."
