Prince Harry is seeking a new chief of staff just days before a work visit to Colombia. The previous incumbent, Josh Kettler, has agreed with the son of King Charles III. to terminate his contract after only three months, the British news agency PA reported.

It was said that Kettler was not the right fit for the position. It is understood that he was still in the probationary period. Kettler had accompanied Harry to London for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, which the prince founded for wounded soldiers.

Now, the fifth in line to the British throne must once again search for a top assistant. "Harry and Meghan have gained a reputation for being unable to retain staff while pursuing their charitable and production projects in the US," PA wrote.

Invitation from Colombia

Prince Harry, 39, and his wife, Duchess Meghan, 43, plan to travel to Colombia soon at the invitation of Vice President Francia Marquez. Their itinerary includes the capital, Bogotá, as well as the regions around Cartagena and Cali. According to Marquez, the focus will be on protecting young people. Meghan and Harry have long been openly raising awareness about the threat the internet poses to minors.

This is the couple's second official overseas trip this year. In May, Meghan and Harry visited the West African nation of Nigeria. Since they stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, the couple has not been traveling on behalf of the Crown or the British government. The Foreign Office in London advises against non-essential travel to Colombia due to the high risk of kidnappings.

People will be involved in Prince Harry's search for a new chief of staff, given that he needs to find a suitable replacement for Josh Kettler. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, specifically Harry, have a history of facing challenges in retaining staff during their charitable and production projects in the United States.

During their upcoming trip to Colombia, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will interact with many people, as they focus on protecting young people and raising awareness about the dangers of the internet for children.
