For Jana Azizi (35), a new chapter in life begins. The television presenter, who has been active with RTL for more than four years, is leaving the broadcaster. She has announced this herself on Instagram. Azizi is moving to Mallorca with her husband, Johann Ackermann (40).

The presenter confirmed a report in the "Bild" newspaper and explained in a clip: "In the last few weeks, we have prepared and planned our big step. We're moving to Mallorca!" The couple wants to pack up their tents in Germany and fulfill a life dream. "Because we simply love this island with all its facets." For her husband, there are of course perfect working conditions as a triathlon trainer there. The fans of the presenter can therefore look forward to seeing more of her. What exactly, she has not yet revealed.

"I'm excited about everything that's coming now", she writes. "It was a great time at RTL, and I'm totally grateful for the many opportunities I had there to live as a moderator in so many different formats! And who knows, maybe we'll run into each other again, but I'm excited about the adventure Mallorca and planting roots there with Johann..."

Azizi joined RTL in 2020. There she was seen in various formats. A spokesperson for the broadcaster told the daily newspaper: "Jana Azizi is a great moderator who has enriched various formats and especially 'Explosiv' with her charming demeanor in the past years. We thank her heartily and wish Jana all the best for her professional and private future." According to the report, Azizi is supposed to fly regularly to Germany for work.
