Presenter Jana Azizi emigrates to Mallorca
After approximately four years at RTL, Jana Azizi bids farewell to the broadcaster. She confirms that she is embarking on an adventure with her partner, Johann, to Mallorca. The "Explosiv" moderator has not yet revealed any further plans for her future.
For Jana Azizi, a new chapter in life begins. The 35-year-old television moderator, who has been active with RTL for over four years, is leaving the station. She has now shared the news herself. Azizi and her husband, Johann Ackermann, are packing up their tents in Germany to pursue their dream life in Mallorca. The Moderator confirmed the report in "Bild" newspaper and stated in a clip: "In the last few weeks, we have prepared and planned our big step towards Mallorca! We're leaving Germany!"
The couple wants to leave their roots in Germany and fulfill their dream life on the island. "There are, of course, perfect working conditions for my husband as a triathlon trainer there," she added. Fans of the moderator can look forward to more from her. What exactly, she has not yet revealed.
"I'm excited about everything that's coming," she writes, thanking the broadcaster. "It was a great time at RTL, and I'm really grateful for the many opportunities I had there to live as a moderator in so many different formats! And who knows, maybe we'll run into each other again, but I'm excited now for the Mallorca adventure and planting roots with Johann..."
Azizi joined RTL in 2020. At the broadcaster, the native Ukrainian was seen in various formats, most notably in "Explosiv." A spokesperson for the broadcaster told the daily newspaper: "Jana Azizi is a great moderator who has enriched various formats and especially 'Explosiv' with her charming demeanor at RTL. We thank her heartily and wish Jana all the best for her professional and private future." According to "Bild," Azizi plans to stay loyal to the entertainment industry and fly regularly to Germany for work.
