- Praising Remarks for Post Malone
Taylor Swift (34) and Post Malone (29) have dropped one of the year's biggest hits, titled "Fortnight." The track took the number one spot on the Billboard Global 200 and smashed a Spotify streaming record a day after its launch. With eight nods, "Fortnight" is a serious contender at the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift gave her colleague a shoutout on Instagram.
On August 17, Swift shared the link to Post Malone's new album "F-1 Trillion" on her account. She shared that her brother Austin Swift (32) played her the music from the album during the filming of the "Fortnight" music video. Swift gushed, "I was fortunate enough to listen to this incredible music on the 'Fortnight' video set when Austin played it for me. It's mind-blowing how diverse his artistic work is." She also called the rapper "the most genuine individual in the world."
London Show, No Post Malone Collaboration
Just before her "The Eras Tour" gig at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, Swift posted this. Fans anticipated that Post Malone would join her for the "Fortnight" performance. The presence of a typewriter symbol on the London tour poster only fueled this hype, as a similar prop appears in Swift and Malone's video.
Swift is notorious for hiding messages for her fans, but this time, the fans were left in the dark. She performed "Fortnight" solo, with no surprise guests like the previous night's performance with Ed Sheeran (33).
Another fan theory also failed to materialize at the concert. Swifties presumed that Swift might reveal her re-recorded album "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" due to a new outfit. However, there was no such announcement.
Despite the excitement, Taylor Swift performed "Fortnight" solo during her London concert, missing the anticipated collaboration with Post Malone. Fans had hoped that Swift's single "Single" from her re-recorded album "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" would debut during the concert, but it remained unperformed, leaving the audience eager for future surprises.
