Wirtz had to rank potato varieties according to his personal preference in a DFB video on TikTok months ago. Wirtz decided after a short consideration: "Normal potatoes...I would even say on the 1." The video became a viral hit, and singer Julian Benz announced another party song for this Friday.

"Florian Wirtz is the future of the German national team! A young and extremely talented player, who has now even become a Social Media meme through TikTok. I hope he understands the song as a joke," Sommer told dpa.
