After discovering two barrels containing human remains on a bridge in Britain, the police have arrested a suspect. The 24-year-old man was apprehended in Bristol and will be taken to London for questioning, the police announced on Saturday. No further suspects are being sought.

The police in Bristol were alerted late on a Wednesday evening when a man was acting suspiciously on Clifton Suspension Bridge, a well-known bridge in the city in southwest England. When the officers arrived, the man had already fled. However, the officers discovered the two barrels containing human remains. The victims have not yet been identified, but the police believe they are the remains of two men.

The Metropolitan Police in London have taken over the investigation in the case as there are indications that the suspect had previously traveled from London to Bristol.

Meanwhile, the officers arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with the incident, but later released him, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police in the evening.

It was not the suspect the investigators had been looking for since Thursday, who is a 24-year-old whose image had previously been made public.

Furthermore, during searches of a London residence, the police reportedly found additional human remains, which are believed to be related to the findings in Bristol.

The man arrested in connection with the corpse finding on Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol was initially apprehended in London. The additional human remains discovered during searches in a London residence could potentially be linked to the parts found in the barrels in Bristol.
