The police had been searching for a girl in the Prohlis district with a large contingent since the morning. A passer-by had made an emergency call after observing the child being harassed by a stranger. According to the police, the primary school-aged girl fled into a small wooded area and the suspected perpetrator ran after her. Around 180 officers from the riot police combed through the forest to find clues as to the whereabouts of the two. However, they were unsuccessful until the evening.
According to police reports, a twelve-year-old girl had already been harassed by a stranger last week. The police are investigating a possible connection between the two cases.
