Police disperse gathering with prohibited tunes and chants.

On Saturday night, authorities in the Kröv district of Rhineland-Palatinate broke up a party and arrested several partygoers. The police were alerted to the event due to reports of banned music and potentially unconstitutional slogans being shouted.

During their raid on the rented house, officers investigated around 20 people and searched the premises. The noise complaints came from the Kröv area of Kövenig in the Mosel town of Kröv. The authorities finished the party and noted down the names of the guests.

Though the specific music and slogans have yet to be revealed, the police are pressing charges, including for using symbols of unconstitutional organizations, inciting others, and violating the Narcotics Act.

Similar incidents have emerged recently. A video filmed on the North Sea island of Sylt over Pentecost weekend, where revelers could be heard screaming jingoistic phrases to a rendition of "L'amour toujours" by Gigi D'Agostino, went viral.

Club Rotes Kliff in Kampen also faced a racially charged incident during the Pentecost holidays. The group behind the club posted on Instagram that the perpetrators were banned from their establishment.

In Erlangen, two individuals were caught shouting racist slogans set to the beat of "L'amour toujours" at the Bergkirchweih festival. The Erlangen police sent the offenders home on Friday night and initiated an investigation through the State Protection Office.

The Schützenfest in Lower Saxony, west of Cloppenburg, was another location where participants were filmed chanting racist slogans to the track "L'amour toujours" over Pentecost weekend. Consequently, the State Protection Office has launched an inquiry in response.

The rise of these incidents underscores the ongoing issue of racist attitudes in Germany and the need for education and awareness.

In light of the recent incident, local authorities in Rhineland-Palatinate's Kröv district are also investigating potential instances of racism at the party, as unconstitutional slogans were reportedly shouted. The Kröv police are now examining the situation to determine if charges for inciting racism should be added to the existing charges.

If proven, this would be another case of racism in public spaces in Rhineland-Palatinate, further highlighting the importance of addressing this issue in the region.
