Police arrested a suspected stalker of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is currently touring Germany. In Gelsenkirchen, the singer performs three times. However, an incident occurred before her first concert in this North Rhine-Westphalia city.

Before the first Germany concert of US Popstar Taylor Swift as part of her world tour in Gelsenkirchen, policemen arrested a suspected stalker. Prior to this, there had been threats against the singer, the officers reported.

The event management provided the tip about the stalker. Around 60,000 people were present at the Wednesday evening for the first of the three sold-out concerts in Gelsenkirchen.

According to police reports, the event proceeded peacefully. In the run-up, there were traffic jams on the Autobahn 2 due to accidents.

The suspected stalker was believed to be targeting Taylor Swift, as reported by the police, following her closely and persistently before her concert in Gelsenkirchen, which is located in North Rhine-Westphalia. Despite the incident, music enthusiasts from across Germany filled up the venue in Gelsenkirchen, exhibiting their love for Taylor Swift's music and entertainment. In the days leading up to the concert, there were a few disturbances on Autobahn 2 due to accidents, causing temporary traffic congestion.
