People - Pink surprises little fan with birthday cake
Singer Pink surprises a young fan with a birthday stand and a cake at a stadium concert in Liverpool.
The special thing about it: the little British girl Dolly Pink was born at the same spot five years ago during a Pink concert. The British broadcaster ITV showed how the superstar personally welcomed the girl and her mother.
Pink gave two concerts as part of her "Summer Carnival" tour at the famous football stadium Anfield, where trainer Jürgen Klopp had worked until recently. According to ITV, she met little Dolly Pink and her mother Denise Jones backstage before her performance on a Monday. The broadcaster showed a video of her handing the five-year-old a piece of cake. Later, Pink encouraged the audience at Anfield to sing "Happy Birthday" with her, while Dolly was shown on the big screens on stage.
In June 2019, there was a spectacular incident at the Pink concert. During her opening song "Get The Party Started," Denise Jones went into labor. It all happened quickly in the stadium, and two doctors helped deliver the baby, who was then named Dolly Pink.
The two doctors were also present at the joyful reunion and posed for a photo with Pink and her fans. Jones expressed her excitement to ITV: "We had the best night of our lives."
On her "Summer Carnival" tour, Pink is also scheduled to perform several times in Germany. In July, there are stadium concerts planned in Leipzig (17.7.), Stuttgart (19.7.), and Mönchengladbach (21.7.).
