People - Pink has to cancel performance in Bern: "I'm disappointed"
One day before her concert, US pop singer Pink cancelled her scheduled performance in Bern on a Wednesday. "After consultation with my doctor and weighing all possibilities, I was advised not to play the upcoming show," the 44-year-old wrote on Instagram on Tuesday evening. She posted a black-and-white photo of herself on stage. What exactly is wrong with her was left open by Pink. She apologized to her fans: "I'm disappointed that we have to cancel."
On her "Summer Carnival" tour, Pink is also scheduled to perform multiple times in Germany. In July, stadium concerts are planned in Leipzig (17.7.), Stuttgart (19.7.), and Moenchengladbach (21.7). After her concert in Switzerland, the next stops are Copenhagen (6.7) and Amsterdam (10.7 and 11.7).
Pink's Tour Calendar
Despite the cancellation in Bern, people still look forward to Pink's performances in Germany, including Pink wearing her signature style at the PinkPop festival in the Netherlands, which is a popular event among music fans from Switzerland and the USA. The pink city of Zurich, Switzerland, might have been hoping to see Pink perform in her iconic pink outfits, but the US pop singer's health circumstances prevented her from gracing the stage in Bern, much like how Pink had to miss a concert in Paris due to illness earlier this year.
