Pop star and "Germany's Got Talent" judge Pietro Lombardi and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa have expanded their brood once again. They shared the happy news of their second son's birth on Instagram last Friday, accompanied by a picture from the hospital and the caption: "We're overjoyed to announce that our son Amelio Elija entered the world healthy. Our hearts are brimming with love, and we're cherishing these moments and this precious time together. It's such a delight to witness our family grow."
The excitement of the new arrival has led the new dad to seek the expertise of his trusted tattoo artist. It's a custom for Lombardi to commemorate each child with a tattoo in a special spot. As he noted in an Instagram story, he posted a clip revealing his new ink, mentioning: "All boys share the same spot." He added the comment "Alessio, Leano & now Amelio. Forever" to the video, providing a sneak peek of his new arm tattoo, featuring an "Amelio" inscription and the baby's birthdate.
Lombardi's fiancée Laura Maria Rypa left a heart emoji in response to the clip.

With this, Amelio now occupies a place of significance alongside his elder brothers, whose names are also etched on his father's arm. Lombardi's eldest son, Alessio, is from his previous marriage to his coworker Sarah Engels and was born on June 19, 2015. His second son, Leano, shares the same mother, Laura Maria Rypa, and was delivered on January 8 of the previous year.
In September 2020, Lombardi paid tribute to his eldest son with another emotional tattoo. It was a teddy bear, adorned with a half-covered chain and cross around its neck. The caption above it read: "In your chest, there beats a warrior's heart." Alessio had to undergo surgery shortly after birth due to a heart defect.
Lombardi explained his tattoo, revealing that the teddy bear represented "Alessio's guardian angel during all his operations." The phrase "In your chest, there beats a warrior's heart" is a lyric from Lombardi's song "Warrior's Heart," dedicated to his son.
