Ethan James Green - Photographer confirmed for Pirelli Calendar 2025
The legendary Pirelli Calendar for the year 2025 will be presented in November in London. However, the person responsible for the motives is already known: the American photographer Ethan James Green (born 1990). This was recently announced in a short video.
Will there be much nudity again?
The clip, which was published on the Instagram page of the photographer and by Pirelli, shows a phone call between the photographer and stylist Tonne Goodman. In it, Ethan James Green asks her what she thinks of a Pirelli shooting, and she replies in it: "It's not about what they will wear, but about what they won't wear ..." With this, a return to sensuality is announced, Pirelli stated in a press release. Accordingly, the images for the twelve calendar months were taken in May and June in the Florida Keys.
Ethan James Green was born in Michigan and began photographing his friends at the age of 14. Before he turned his passion into a profession, he was a model and moved to New York. "His unique perspective on essential and personal beauty has made him one of the most intriguing photographers of the present," praises the Italian company in the press release. He combines "the sincerity of his Midwestern homeland with the width and brilliance of his adopted homeland."
The 51st edition appears in 2025
Who he shot for the project is still not known. In the past, many celebrities have posed for the exclusive calendar. In the previous year, in which the 50th edition was published, models Naomi Campbell (54) and Hollywood star Idris Elba (51) were among the famous personalities. The Ghanaian artist Prince Gyasi had captured the personalities under the title "Timeless" - thus "timeless". Previously, Emma Summerton (Calendar 2023) and rock singer Bryan Adams (Calendar 2022) shot for Pirelli.
