Finally, it's here: Taylor Swift gives her first concert in Germany. In Gelsenkirchen, tens of thousands of fans of the US singer have gathered, including numerous celebrities.
When Taylor Swift calls, they come in swarms - the Swifties. Nearly 70,000 fans of the US singer gathered on a Wednesday evening in Gelsenkirchen to be a part of her debut concert in Germany. Among the attendees were also numerous celebrities, who documented the show on their social media channels.
"When you go to Taylor Swift's concert with your daughter, her best friend, and your husband," moderator Jana Ina Zarrella announced in an Instagram story in advance. In the attached photo, four hands with popular Swift friendship bracelets are visible. Upon arriving at the Veltins Arena, Zarrella was impressed by the colorful and glittering outfits of the Swift fans. "Better than Fashion Week," she judged.
She also kept the experience in an Instagram post. In a snapshot she commented as "U40 Swifties," she showed herself with her husband Giovanni Zarrella and a fan poster at her seat in the arena. In the background, the stage and thousands of concertgoers could be seen. "Rarely have I seen something so good," Zarrella declared after the show. "She is undoubtedly the best and biggest artist there is right now. If you have the opportunity, don't miss the concert."
Even Wolfgang Bosbach is a fan
Instagram stories of the 47-year-old show that the Zarrellas were not the only celebrities at the concert. So, the moderator showed herself singing and dancing and with comedian Matze Knop and real estate broker Marcel Remus, who attended the concert with his mother Silke. CDU politician Wolfgang Bosbach, as well as former Schalke 04 boss Clemens Tönnies and his wife Margit, on whose invitation the Zarrellas apparently were present, were also shown on Instagram.
Moderator Riccardo Simonetti didn't want to miss the show either and shared the entire evening on Instagram through diligent stories. Among those seen in his snapshots were his companions, including former "Monrose" singer Mandy Capristo and "Germany's next Topmodel" participant Alex Mariah Peter. In further snapshots, former "Bachelor" Niko Griesert and former "Bachelorette" Maxime Herbord, as well as reality stars, were also visible.
Besides other reality stars, such as former "Bachelor" Niko Griesert and former "Bachelorette" Maxime Herbord, an international star couldn't resist the concert in Gelsenkirchen: Swift received support from her partner, football player Travis Kelce, for the 13th time. The 34-year-old followed her performance from a loge. Unlike in London's Wembley Stadium, he didn't make it to the stage this time.
