In early 2023, Patrice Aminati received the terrible diagnosis of skin melanoma. In March of this year, TV-Moderator Daniel Aminati went public with the news that new metastases had been found in his wife - among other places, in her lung. The "terrible side effects" of cancer treatment took a toll on the 29-year-old. But now, Patrice Aminati has reason to regain hope. "At last," she writes on Instagram.
"You know that I have developed metastases in many organs ... some palpable, others visible only in a CT scan. My body is a map with dark spots. But now: A subcutaneous metastasis in the abdomen, which I could feel, test and see growing larger over weeks, whose growing lump made me feel like my entire body was only this visible enemy that I wanted to cut out of me with all despair - is gone," the patient rejoices in a recent post.
Her doctors had advised against removing this metastasis surgically, as it was a "good seismograph" for the success of a new therapy form, with which she is currently being treated. Now, this metastasis is no longer there, as an MRT confirmed. "She is really gone ... I can hardly believe it and yet - the therapy is working," Aminati rejoices.
"The way is still long ... I will continue the journey ... but finally there is light on the horizon, finally I have hope," the mother of a young daughter expresses her joy over this therapy breakthrough. Despite all the joy, the painful side effects of therapy could not be "discussed away."

Aminati thanks her followers for the many kind wishes and prayers: "Yes, there was even a circle of people who prayed for me together - I was touched: Please include all affected in your prayers and thoughts!"
Aminati's message to all the healthy and sick is: "Keep the beautiful, good moments in mind ... Time is precious - let us make the beautiful things visible and infinite. Pay attention to yourselves." To all affected and their relatives, she gives the strength to stay strong, be brave, and hold together.
