Patrice Aminati expresses satisfaction with the lack of novel developments.

A little over a year since her cancer diagnosis, the spouse of ProSeven moderator Daniel Aminati shares some health news through an Instagram post on September 18th. "What's new?", Patrice Aminati asks her followers, enthusiastically adding, "Nothing! Isn't that fantastic?"

Back in April, the mother of a two-year-old and her popular husband publicly disclosed that she was diagnosed with skin cancer, the harmful variant affecting dark skin tones. Metastases had already started forming. She shared the grueling chemotherapies and the subsequent sad news with her followers. But then, in August, she brought some positive news: Six months post her second cancer treatment, she was clear of metastases. In a new post, she clarified her situation.

"Current status: No metastases, no tumor markers. What remains? The therapy continues to maintain this status. The side effects create a roller coaster of feelings. Being cancer-free does not mean being treatment-free. That applies to me and all other survivors.", she explains, accompanied by a series of images showing her weak in the hospital to cheerful at the golf course, weeding or playing in the hay with her daughter.

"I revel in the hours and days"

"Doctor's appointments, tests, hospital visits continue to alternate -- still. But: I cherish, celebrate the hours and days when I feel no pain, when I'm not constantly anxious, when I feel nothing, when I don't need medications.", she joyfully remarks, expressing her renewed hope that her family can now live peacefully.

She also appreciates her treating doctors: "But there was also the late-night car ride towards Cologne, where I endured such excruciating cramps that we drove to the nearest hospital at 1 am. How doctors collaborate across German states, how they arrange everything for their patients in record time, is astounding! Thank you!", she thanks the medical professionals.

Between her medical appointments and hospital stays, Aminati delights in the "wonderful daily life" with her joyful daughter Charly Malika. "At the playground, cooking, baking, playing piano, doing sports, gardening, tidying up ... things I can now do on my own again, and that make me happy once more. Even office work ... I'll never get used to it ... but I can handle it!", she humorously observes. "And what else? I jump through puddles in my rain boots! Why? Because I can (again and still)!".

The cancer diagnosis in 2023 radically transformed the life of the psychology student, making her acutely aware of what truly matters in life. "Despite the diagnosis - malignant melanoma stage four with distant metastases in various organs - I was fought for, given hope. For that, I am grateful.", she shared heartfelt words on her Instagram profile.

After sharing her journey of cancer treatment and remission, Patrice Aminati expresses, "I am thrilled to announce that 'The entertainment' in our lives now includes regular visits to the golf course and playground with Charly Malika." Furthermore, she adds, "The joy of participating in 'The entertainment' of daily activities, like baking and gardening, has never been sweeter since overcoming her health challenges."
