Paris Hilton has become a mother for the second time

No one really expected this: After Paris Hilton gave birth to her first child with the help of a surrogate mother at the beginning of the year, she has now given birth to baby number two. The 42-year-old announced the birth surprisingly and almost casually.

Paris Hilton has caused a real Thanksgiving surprise. The heiress to millions has become the mother of a daughter. Her son Phoenix was only born via surrogate mother in January.

"Thankful for my little girl," the 42-year-old commented on her Instagram page with a picture showing a pink baby outfit, pink heart sunglasses and a cuddly toy. The name of her newborn daughter can also be read on the romper: London.

After the post was published, the media and fans initially speculated whether the baby might be on the way. A short time later, however, Hilton clarified in a TikTok comment that the baby girl is already in the world: "My princess has arrived."

And why "London"?

"London" has long been one of Hilton's preferred names. "The girl will be called London Marilyn Hilton Reum", she announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at the beginning of 2022 in case she had a daughter.

At the time, the now 42-year-old explained the name as follows: "Marilyn after my grandmother, and London because it's my favorite city, and I think Paris and London sound sweet together." Now her dream has obviously come true. It can be assumed that her daughter was also carried by a surrogate mother.

Paris Hilton has been married to entrepreneur Carter Reum since 2021. The couple made it clear from the start that they wanted children. After the birth of son Phoenix, Hilton, who was once a world-famous It girl, explained that her priorities had "just completely shifted". The boy makes her feel "so complete", said Hilton, adding: "He's my world."
