Ozzy Osbourne has left the USA

They have been talking about it for some time. Now Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon have put their money where their mouth is: the two of them have moved back to England from the USA - partly because of his Parkinson's disease. However, the singer does not want to enjoy his retirement there completely just yet.

After more than 20 years in the USA, rock star Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon have moved back to their British homeland. Sharon Osbourne revealed this in the podcast "Woman's Hour". Instead of Los Angeles, the couple now live in a country house in Buckinghamshire.

His wife Sharon continues to go through thick and thin with Ozzy Osbourne.

There, Ozzy Osbourne should find the peace and quiet to deal with his Parkinson's disease. "Because where we live in the country, there are no snoopers and it's not a busy little town," said Sharon Osbourne. "We have a lot of land so he can walk around and pursue his hobbies without being disturbed," said the 71-year-old, who is also the singer's manager.

Ozzy Osbourne made it public three years ago that he was suffering from Parkinson's disease. The former Black Sabbath frontman is also still suffering from the long-term effects of an accident with a quad bike in 2003. He recently had to undergo several operations, some of which went wrong, according to his own statement. The Englishman also had a tumor removed from his spine.

At least one more concert

However, the return to England is not only due to Ozzy Osbourne's health problems. She no longer felt comfortable in the USA, said Sharon Osbourne. Los Angeles had changed for the worse in her eyes. She had never considered herself to be particularly American anyway and felt more at home in England. "It was just time," she said about returning to her homeland. "I miss the culture here, the lifestyle."

Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne announced in an interview with the music magazine "Rolling Stone" that he wanted to play at least one more concert for his fans despite his ailing health. "They've been loyal to me for a hell of a lot of years. They write to me, they know all about my dogs. They are my extended family," the 74-year-old explained in the interview.

Although he can no longer perform regularly, he wants to be healthy enough for at least one show to thank them for their lives. "That's what I'm working towards. And if I end up dropping dead, I'll die a happy man," said the singer.

In his new British home, Ozzy Osbourne continues to pursue his passion for music, especially rock music. During their podcast appearance, Sharon Osbourne mentioned that her husband still loves attending live music events, particularly ones featuring his favorite genre.

Being back in England allows Ozzy to ensure he doesn't miss any significant moments in the world of Entertainment, particularly the Music scene, especially Rock Music, which he holds dear.
