Violent Weather Event - Over 30 people killed by a cyclone in South Asia.

A recent tropical cyclone, dubbed "Remal," has taken the lives of over 30 individuals in nations such as Bangladesh and India. In northeastern India alone, eleven people lost their lives following a landslide at a quarry. Further fatalities have not been dismissed as rescue operations persist.

Ahead of the cyclone striking India and Bangladesh on Monday evening, numerous people residing in coastal regions were relocated to secure areas. The tempest ravaged these locations with heavy rain, causing streets to resemble rivers, flattened trees, and broken power lines. Footage from television broadcasts depicted how several modest homes sustained damages.

Currently, the cyclone has weakened, as indicated by weather reports in both countries. However, the educational institutions, banks, and government establishments in the affected locations did not reopen on Tuesday.

India and Bangladesh experience intense storms on a regular basis, leading to unprecedented flooding, ruin, and power outages. Experts predict an increase in more robust storms worldwide as a result of climate change.
