Outside the summer residence, Miss Tuning pays tribute to Playboy
With her companion Raúl Richter, Vanessa Schmitt decides to step into the "Summer Villa of the Stars." Prior to their trip to the enchanting Bocholt, the ex-"Miss Tuning" has a stopover at "Playboy." She's convinced: "We just live once."
You might assume that the celebrity in their relationship is mostly him. Raúl Richter gained some fame due to his character, Dominik Gundlach, in "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten" from 2007 to 2014. But let's not forget, Vanessa Schmitt also has a few noteworthy public appearances. She's no stranger to being crowned "Miss Tuning" in 2017, and she's also gained recognition as a moderator on "Grip - Das Motormagazin."
The duo is now moving into the renowned "Summer Villa of the Stars" in the beautiful Bocholt in Münsterland. The ninth season of this successful show was available on RTL+ since Tuesday evening - with a one-week delay, it will also air on RTL on Tuesday, September 17, at 8:15 PM. However, before Schmitt engages in the "celebrity couple battle" with Richter in the villa, she first pays a visit to a more sophisticated location: "Playboy."
This is where the 28-year-old flaunts her bare self in the October issue of the magazine. This is her first time in every way: she's never appeared on a magazine cover, let alone naked. She shares her feelings about the experience in the "Playboy" interview, of course, with enthusiasm: "The photo shoot boosted my self-confidence. It reaffirmed that women can and should feel free at any time."
At first, she felt uncomfortable with exposing herself so openly. The issue was the "six, seven kilos" she gained the previous year. Sometimes she wishes she could be "as sporty and slim as before," Schmitt admits. But even if she didn't have time to lose weight before the shoot, she's ultimately pleased with the outcome. "In the end, I looked at the pictures and thought they were beautiful. You don't always have to look like a model with a six-pack," Schmitt concludes, adding: "Women should do what they feel like doing. We only live once, and we shouldn't let others dictate our choices."
With her entrance into the "Summer Villa of the Stars," Schmitt experiences another first. "I'm a huge reality TV fan," she reveals in the "Playboy" interview. But she had never been in a similar format before. "When the offer came, I thought: That's cool, finally I can experience it live too. It was really an honor to be a part of it," she expresses her enthusiasm for the show that's been a relationship downfall for many couples in the past. Even about her partner Raúl Richter, she only has positive things to say. "We've known each other for six years, we understand each other and what could hurt the other," she explains their resilience against separation, which has afflicted many "Summer Villa" couples in the past. And despite their past cheating scandal, "that happened two years ago and it was a heavy blow," Schmitt recalls. "We were also separated for a while," she adds. But after many discussions, she decided to "give it another chance." Schmitt is certain: "I had nothing to lose." And that likely also applies to her trips to "Playboy" and the "Summer Villa."
