Olly Murs becomes a father for the first time

British singer Olly Murs is making his private happiness perfect: as he himself announced via Instagram, he and his wife Amelia will become parents next year.
The 38-year-old posted a photo of himself and his pregnant partner. He holds an ultrasound image of the unborn child up to the camera and points to the 30-year-old's exposed baby bump, which is already clearly bulging. The singer wrote: "Baby Murs is due in 2024." He garnished the whole thing with several emojis: a baby, a bottle and a yellow heart.
His wife also posted the corresponding picture. Fitness model Amelia Tank and pop singer Olly Murs have been a couple since the end of 2019. They got engaged in June 2022 and have only been married for five months. After the wedding, Tank took Murs' surname. The couple celebrated their wedding for a total of three days on the island of Osea off the British coast.
"We are ready"
In an interview with "Hello" magazine just a few days after their wedding, the two had already announced that they wanted to start a family. "We're ready to have our own little Murs running around," the musician said in the interview.
Olly Murs originally rose to fame in his home country through the casting show "The X Factor", in which he came second in 2009. He then launched his solo career and has since had several number 1 hits in the UK. In Germany, Murs became best known for his international megahit "Heart Skips A Beat".
