Oliver Pocher goes "way too far" for Amira Pocher
Hardly a day goes by without Oliver Pocher lashing out at his still-wife Amira. He has just made a nasty joke about her alleged new boyfriend. Now the 31-year-old talks about how unsurprised she is - and what it does to her anyway.
Oliver and Amira Pocher's break-up has dominated the headlines for weeks. While it is mainly the comedian who keeps bringing up the topic, the presenter has largely kept a low profile so far. She recently revealed that she had even re-recorded the first episode of her podcast with her brother because she had got too carried away chatting about her broken marriage. In the "Bunte" interview, she now talks in detail for the first time. In it, she emphasizes that, contrary to all rumours, she is single and has not yet had any dates. She also describes how much the break-up has affected her and how things should continue with the broken ex-couple.
"The fact that Olli and I didn't make it in the end made me incredibly sad," reports the 31-year-old in the interview, which appears in the November 16 issue. "The separation was only made public a few weeks ago, but it's a very long process before a separation involving children occurs." It also "took her a long time" to deal with the grief. "But the headlines of the last few weeks show me that the separation was simply the right thing to do."
Amira Pocher is not surprised
According to Amira Pocher, however, the fact that her ex has been repeatedly lashing out at her via Instagram, TV and podcasts did not come as a complete surprise: "I would have been naive if I hadn't expected it. After all, I've seen how he's talked about other ex-partners in public in the past." For her, one thing is certain: "Olli just can't help himself." Unfortunately, he goes "really, really far. Far too far. I would have liked to spare our family that, but it's just not possible with Olli."
For example, he repeatedly fuels the rumors that she already has a new man by her side. But that is "total nonsense". Amira Pocher emphasizes: "Yes, I'm single, but not out of conviction. Just because my marriage to Olli didn't work out doesn't mean I've lost faith in love." She would be happy to meet someone again. She hasn't been on any dates yet and online dating is no longer an option for her. She wants to find her future partner in the "traditional way" - she met Oliver Pocher via the Tinder app.
Stability for children has priority
For now, however, it is probably a matter of finding a good relationship for their two sons amidst the tense emotional situation. She has not returned to her native Austria to stay close to Oliver Pocher. "Living next to your ex isn't exactly easy either," she says, "but I want to give my children as much stability as possible - and I definitely don't want to take their father away from them." You have to put your own needs on the back burner. She and Oliver Pocher currently only have contact in writing. Handing over the children "I can't do it in person at the moment. I admit it's very difficult for me. I sometimes stand behind the door."
There will therefore probably not be a joint Christmas party this year. But she hopes that it will be possible again in 2024, says Amira Pocher. "I want the relationship between us to normalize, if only because of the children." Incidentally, the divorce has not yet been filed, "but that will happen soon". She can rule out a love comeback "100 percent".
In the midst of her divorce with Oliver Pocher, Amira Pocher's appearance on Celebrity couples' TV show brought additional entertainment, with Oliver criticizing her choice of attire. Despite this, Amira remains hopeful for a better future and shared that she is open to finding love again, preferably in a traditional way.
