- Oliver exhibits profound feelings due to the impending divorce.
In August 2023, Oliver Poacher and Amira announced their split, and now, a year later, their divorce has been formally concluded. The comedian and TV host, who share two children, will share custody, but are no longer legally tied to each other. Poacher will provide child support, but won't pay alimony to his ex-spouse. This arrangement was previously established in a prenuptial agreement signed during their marriage.
Poacher, 46, announced the divorce on Instagram, stating: "Today, Amira and I are legally divorced!" However, the divorce seems to be affecting the usually resilient comedian, as he added: "Too bad... I thought it would last (longer)". But Poacher being Poacher, he couldn't resist adding a joke, even in the face of such sadness. He clarified the wedding photo he used: "P.S.: Picture is not current".
Poacher Still Struggles with Post-Separation Peace
Amira has moved on, dating TV host Christian Düring, and recently vacationed with him in the mountains to relax. This is a topic that Poacher finds difficult to handle. In his podcast "Die Poachers! Frisch recycelt", which he continues with his first ex-wife, Sandy Meyer-Wölden, after Amira's departure, he often makes jabs at Amira's new relationship.
It appears that the pain of the failed marriage still impacts him, as hinted by his latest post. Under the picture, comments pour in, including from celebrities like Lilly Becker: "Are you okay?" and Jenny Elvers: "Too bad..., all the best". Former DSDS contestant Prince Damien seems to see an opportunity in Poacher's new single status, commenting: "If you had married me, things would have turned out differently."
