Oli Pocher relies on experience for divorce

Oli Pocher and his wife Amira are history - the couple's marriage could soon come to an end, even in purely legal terms. The comedian is quite open about the subject of divorce, as he seems to know a good and experienced lawyer in this area.

In their first joint episode of the podcast "Die Pochers! Frisch recycelt" in front of an audience in Cologne, Oliver Pocher and ex-wife Alessandra "Sandy" Meyer-Wölden take a deep look into their patchwork family life. The separation from his wife Amira is also discussed. The 40-year-old is apparently relaxed about a possible divorce.

In view of an existing prenuptial agreement, Pocher recalls a "Bunte" interview with Amira: "In the interview, she said that the prenuptial agreement is only for love and not for money. And we may have to see in court whether it was really only there because of love or because of money. From my point of view, it's relatively straightforward. I don't have any major points to clarify. I'm curious." Meyer-Wölden comments dryly: "At least you've learned from your first marriage to me. We didn't have a prenuptial agreement."

Pocher and Meyer-Wölden have three children together, their marriage ended in 2013. This was followed by a divorce, which Pocher's ex seems to remember only too well - mainly because of the comedian's divorce lawyer: "She got me so worked up that I've recommended her to all my friends ever since. She simply does a good job." The two have since come to terms with their divorce and instead reminisce about the first time they met during their appearance in Cologne. However, Pocher has to take more than he would like.

Jokes with a laceration

It is said that their first date took place in 2009, when Pocher had just separated from his long-term partner, former Bachelorette Monica Ivancan. After a tour appearance, he entered a Berlin celebrity bar in the slipstream of boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko. In the wake of the boxing giant, the swinging door at the entrance to the pub hit him so suddenly on the forehead that he suffered a laceration. "Everything was covered in blood. I was given a towel and ice cubes at the time. That's how I got past your table." Meyer-Wölden remembers: "That same evening, the 'Cinema for Peace Gala' took place in Berlin." She sat together with designer Michael Michalsky, Jenny Elvers and model Shermine Shahrivar. "You said to us: 'There are three months of stand-up program sitting at one table'."

At the time, the two talked for more than an hour and arranged to meet for an appearance in Munich. Pocher: "When I wrote to her, she replied: 'Can I bring someone else? There are 14 of us'." Without further ado, he had 14 additional chairs placed in the sold-out "Circus Krone". Over a drink in a bar after the show, they apparently hit it off: "We got on really well that evening," says Pocher.
