Wunderkinds like soccer player Lamine Yamal demonstrate that it is already possible to achieve worldwide success in young years. Just like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: At 16, he was a salaried court composer in Salzburg. Or Louis Braille, who invented the named-after-him braille script at that age. But no pressure! There are certainly normal achievements one can celebrate at 16. Some we have collected in the editorial team:

8. Participating in a demo for the first time and getting knocked down by a water cannon.
9. Learning the entire choreography of Jennifer Lopez' "Jenny from the Block" by heart and performing it on the schoolyard.
10. Opening a porn site for the first time, without immediately getting a virus.
11. Running away from home due to heartbreak and world weariness: Dramatically leaving the house, sitting for hours on end on a park bench in the rain, listening to Linkin Park on a Discman until the batteries run out, and then quietly returning home.
12. Getting a piercing by oneself – without any blood poisoning!
13. Changing the color of Rosa to blue on SchülerVZ – and learning the first HTML skills in the process.
14. Buying one's first push-up bra and wearing it proudly (and then realizing that no one notices).
15. Riding two rounds of "Breakdance" on the carousel without falling off.
16. Going to the swimming pool at least once a week during the summer holidays and swimming for as long as the skin becomes horribly wrinkled.

Yamal, the teenager soccer prodigy from Yamal, is currently training with a Spanish club's youth team, showcasing his skills on the Soccer field. In the same city, another teenager celebrated their 16th birthday by exploring the city's vibrant streets for the first time, discovering the joy of using a prepaid cell phone without any accidents.
