Nino de Angelo postpones his wedding

Singer Nino de Angelo unexpectedly postpones the date of his wedding, citing the tense world situation as the reason for his fear of flying. But he promises to marry his partner Simone next year.

Nino de Angelo wants to marry his partner Simone Lux. The two were supposed to tie the knot in just under a month's time, but it won't happen. Instead, the wedding is now planned for 2024, reports Bild newspaper. According to the report, it should be on his 60th birthday. Nino de Angelo and Simone Lux were supposed to get married in Las Vegas on December 18. However, the singer confirms that the wedding will not take place for the time being. "In the current tense world situation, I really want to avoid getting on a plane," he explains the decision. "I'd rather celebrate with my Simone in Italy and postpone the wedding until next year."

His partner is not disappointed, says de Angelo: "She knows that the wedding is only postponed." The 59-year-old has already been married four times. However, his fifth marriage should "really be my last this time". The wedding present will be given on his birthday in December. He has bought two watches for himself and for her and had "From eternity to eternity" engraved on the back, among other things.

Nino de Angelo and the marriage curse

Last May, de Angelo could already imagine getting married again, but was not yet convinced. "Of course you can imagine it, but I've already been married four times," he explained in an interview. "I have the feeling there's a curse on it."

He continued: "The first marriage produced two wonderful children. Unfortunately, that marriage broke up, probably because of me. But the other three times were unnecessary. Every marriage that ends in divorce is unnecessary. You can't say that when children have come out of it." He has no regrets about his marriage to the mother of my children. He has ruled out a new marriage: "But you can be happy without a marriage certificate. Simone and I will still be together until the end."
