In May, actress Nina Dobrev suffered an accident while riding a motorcycle and is now recuperating in the hospital. Following a knee operation, she is making progress toward full recovery. Recently, she shared the lesson she gained from the incident.
During a television appearance, Nina Dobrev shared details about her injuries since her May mishap with a dirt bike. "I was trying dirt biking for the first time, and it didn't fare well for me. I don't suggest anyone tries it," the 35-year-old "Vampire Diaries" star told the show "The Talk." "It's okay, I learned my lesson: Stay away from dirt bikes."
Dobrev explained how she lost control when attempting to ride with the front wheel lifted off the ground. In a flurry, she added too much gas and the wheel slid out from beneath her. "Luckily, it didn't hit me directly, which the doctor mentioned would've been significantly more severe. But when I landed, I touched down on one leg, and my knee fractured."
The actress shared that she had gotten a large brace and still couldn't walk alone. Dobrev disclosed that she had fractured her knee and both the anterior cruciate ligament and the meniscus were also hurt. She noted that the show "The Talk" marked her first outing from her house in weeks.
Currently, her life revolves around her pets, watching movies, physical therapy, eating, sleeping, and using the restroom. She also disclosed her newest fascination: the series "Fargo." "I told my agents, 'I'm so enamored with this show, I'm so obsessed with it that I said I have to be part of this series,'" she said. Regrettably, her agents informed her she had missed the casting deadline for "Fargo."
Nina Dobrev unveiled her severe E-Bike crash on May 20th on Instagram. The post contained pictures of her alongside the bike and another in a hospital bed. Captioned "how it began and how it's going," her post depicted her experience. Dirt bikes generally consist of wide tires and are used exclusively for jumps or tricks with the bike.
