Singer-Songwriter Nico Santos spoke about fatherhood in an interview with RTL. "So far, everything is still very relaxed," said the 31-year-old in response to a question about whether becoming a father had changed his work. Moderator Susanne Bohm mentioned that she had heard that the musician generally only slept three to four hours.
"That sleeping thing has improved a bit beforehand," Santos replied. "And I have to be honest: Since I have a family or founded a family, it's actually going really, really well with sleeping."
Santos announced in October 2023 that he was going to be a father. "We are expecting family growth," wrote the 30-year-old on Instagram. His wife Aileen and he had wanted to keep the news for themselves. "But many had already found out from other media that came before us."
The German Press Agency reported in December that Santos planned to take a short break in the coming months: "I will definitely take a little break, but musically something is happening with me in the new year." He postponed his planned tour from spring to fall.
Nico Santos is the son of actor Egon Wellenbrink. He grew up on the Spanish island of Mallorca. He released his first album "Streets of Gold" in 2018. Two years later, he released another album named after himself.
