Nick Cannon insures his testicles for ten million dollars
When he hears that many of his prominent colleagues insure their legs for high amounts, US-Comedian Nick Cannon comes up with an idea: Why not secure such a deal for his balls? After all, he has already fathered twelve children with six women.
Nick Cannon has made headlines in recent years mainly due to his unusual family planning. The entertainer now has twelve children from six women, whom he lovingly takes care of with their mothers. He apparently does not rule out having more offspring in the future; the 43-year-old has even had his testicles insured.
"One hears it often that celebrities insure their legs ... so I thought to myself: Hey, I need to insure my most valuable asset," he explained this decision in an interview with the American magazine "Entertainment Tonight."
For his crown jewels, his "most valuable possession," he has taken out an insurance policy of ten million dollars (around 9.3 million Euros). He does not plan to have more children in the near future but "wants to make sure nothing goes wrong." The insurance was arranged in collaboration with the soap and body care product manufacturer Dr. Squatch.
A son died at five months old
Nick Cannon's family relationships are complex. Six women have given birth to children for the moderator, some of them in the same year. With his ex-wife Mariah Carey, he has the twins Moroccan and Monroe. With DJ Abby De La Rosa, he also has twins, Zion and Zillion, as well as daughter Beautiful Zeppelin.
With ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell, he has three children: sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah and daughter Powerful Queen. He has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with "Selling Sunset" star Bre Tiesi for years, with whom he has daughter Legendary Love. Model LaNisha Cole gave him daughter Onyx and Alyssa Scott gave him daughter Halo Marie. Their son Zen died in December 2021 at five months old from a brain tumor.
Despite his numerous children and complicated family dynamics, Nick Cannon continues to seek opportunities in the entertainment industry. Perhaps drawing inspiration from insured celebrities, he decided to secure an insurance policy for his most valuable asset, amounting to ten million dollars. This decision was made public in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight," where he also mentioned his desire to protect his family, especially considering the loss of his son Zen at five months old due to a brain tumor.
