Baby news from Luxembourg: Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg (32) and her husband Nicolas Bagory (35) are expecting their first child.

A press release, which was also published on Instagram, informs: "Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess are pleased to announce that Princess Alexandra and Mr. Nicolas Bagory are expecting their first child."

It goes on to say that the baby is expected to arrive in the spring. The Grand Duke, the Grand Duchess and the members of the two families will join in the joy of this great happiness, they also announce.

Another grandchild in the spring

Next year, at least two grandchildren will join the royal family following the latest announcement. Princess Alexandra's brother, Prince Félix (39), and his wife, Princess Claire of Luxembourg (38), are also happily expecting, as they announced in an Instagram post in July.

Princess Alexandra and Nicolas Bagory are said to have met in 2021. They got married in a civil ceremony in Luxembourg on April 22, 2023, followed by a church wedding in the south of France on April 29.
