Jennifer Lange (30) and Darius Zander (40) got married last weekend. In their podcast "Pepper in the Fridge", they discuss their current episode "Mr. & Mrs. Zander". "We got married yesterday, quite spontaneously. I changed my name, irrevocably," the influencer explains with a laugh, adding, "We wanted to get married before the baby arrives. I'm currently heavily pregnant, he could arrive at any moment."

Her partner gushes further: "It was just a wonderful day. It's all a bit surreal, everything that's happened lately. I find the whole summer pretty crazy." The couple celebrated with only their witnesses and a "very small circle". "We were at a beautiful restaurant, ate delicious food, and had a great day." Afterwards, they checked into a hotel suite in Cologne.

In a small speech, he made a love declaration to his wife, saying, "I'm just happy I found you," Darius Zander recounts. "Jennifer, you are my dream woman, and I can be anything with you, and that's just great." The wedding was "a little seal for our love."

However, they also addressed a less pleasant fact about the wedding. The couple received an incredible number of messages, "so many lovely and beautiful messages, no normal person gets that many at a wedding," Darius Zander explains initially. "But we also had a topic, you were wearing a dress, you were the most wonderful and beautiful bride for me, and there were people who wrote under a wedding reel: 'How awful do you look, what a terrible dress.'" In said clip, Jennifer Lange gives insights into the wedding and commented it with "Mr. & Mrs. Zander".

Comment function deactivated

This is a general societal problem, one can criticize things, "but I don't understand how one can use personal taste questions at a wedding to express personal frustration like that," her husband says in the podcast. "That has nothing to do with criticism. That's just not done, at such a beautiful moment, with a pregnant, beautiful, lovely bride, to write something like that." His wife agrees: "I can put myself in those people's shoes. I imagine if I didn't like something, like an item of clothing, I would never think to write that. How important I would feel in that moment. I would feel so bad and embarrassed." Those people are just pitiful.

"Of course, I read those comments and messages, by the way, that's why I deactivated the comment function for the first time, I think, because it got so out of hand," the former "Bachelor" winner continues. "It wasn't about the dress anymore, people were just attacking each other and insulting each other. I found it really terrible to watch. I couldn't take it anymore and did it for me and my community."

The couple looks positively into the future and plans another big wedding after the birth of their son. "We will have another big wedding in two years. It might be somewhere in the south," Darius Zander reveals. "We want to take our time with the planning and maybe celebrate over several days," his wife adds.

Jennifer Lange has been officially together with the musician Darius "Dari" Zander since August 2021. Before that, she was in a relationship with Andrej Mangold (37) for over a year, who gave her the last rose in the dating show "Bachelor" in 2019. After participating in "The Summer House of the Stars", the TV couple separated in 2020.

Jennifer proudly displayed her wedding dress in the "Mr. & Mrs. Zander" episode, showcasing its beauty and grace. Despite some harsh criticism about her wedding dress, Jennifer and Darius were grateful for the overwhelmingly positive messages they received, using the experience as a lesson in dealing with online negativity.
