Robert Andrich - National player now wears his hair pink

The German national team is getting ready for the EURO-semi final against Spain on Friday (5th July). Many fans will once again cheer on the pitch in the pink-lilac away kit. For the match, the DFB team will wear their white home kits again, but a pink hair accessory is already taken care of: Midfielder Robert Andrich (29) has had his hair dyed neon pink.

Will the pink hair bring luck?

During the final training session of the squad led by national coach Julian Nagelsmann (36) at the DFB headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Andrich stood out clearly on Thursday with his new hair color. In the previous round against Denmark, the 29-year-old Leverkusen player had surprised with platinum blonde hair, while in the group stage he still had his natural color.

Will the pink hair of the German team bring luck in the game against Spain on Friday? The game in Stuttgart is expected to be the toughest for the team so far. The game will be broadcast live from 18:00 hours on the First and MagentaTV.

This is the barber of the DFB team

It is not known whether the footballer himself reached for the hair dye or received professional support. The official barber of the DFB team is Mustafa "Musti" Mostafa. The star barber from Essen, according to media reports, lives with the squad in the Basecamp in Herzogenaurach and takes care of the players' hair.

According to "Bild", the DFB stars can only go to the barber a maximum of two days before a game, after which all attention should be on training. During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, players were reportedly secretly summoned to the hotel by the barber, causing quite a stir. Now, the barber visits during the tournament are no longer to be kept secret.

The DFB team's barber, Mustafa "Musti" Mostafa, is known for his work with the German national team. Andrich, however, seems to have taken matters into his own hands before the quarterfinals, as he dyed his hair neon pink. The European Football Championship 2024 will see Germany competing against various teams, with Spain and Denmark being some of the recent opponents. The quarterfinals in Stuttgart are expected to be a challenging match for the DFB team. Despite the tough competition, the team and their fans, including those wearing the pink-lilac away kit, look forward to moments of happiness and success.
