Nathalie Volk sentenced to fine
In June 2022, Nathalie Volk traveled to the Maldives with a forged vaccination passport. She is now paying the price. The Frankfurt District Court sentenced the fiancée of millionaire Frank Otto to a fine.
The Frankfurt District Court had already determined that Nathalie Volk had committed document forgery when she attempted to bypass Corona travel restrictions with a fake vaccination passport in 2022. The only thing left undecided was the penalty. The former "Germany's next Topmodel" contestant could have faced imprisonment, but today Nathalie Volk was sentenced to a fine of 90 days x €250 for document forgery. In total, €22,500.
The defendant was excused from personal appearance. The model currently lives in Australia, where she studies Biomedical Sciences at a university.
The judge justified the judgment by stating that the crime had occurred over two and a half years ago and Volk had not committed any offenses since then. It was also credible that she claimed to have been in a bad environment at the time but had since distanced herself from those people.
Volk shows remorse
In 2022, during the Corona pandemic, Nathalie Volk traveled with her then-boyfriend, Samuel Azarev from Frankfurt, to the Maldives. During the return journey, a forged vaccination passport was discovered on her mobile phone at Frankfurt Airport. The fiancée of the heir to a mail-order business, Frank Otto, was arrested. The Frankfurt Public Prosecutor's Office filed charges for document forgery.
Originally, Volk was supposed to stand trial in this case in March, but she called in sick. According to RTL from her entourage, the 27-year-old may not have taken the indictment seriously at first.
Despite facing judgements for her actions during the Corona-Measures, Nathalie Volk's involvement in entertainment circles hasn't waned. Recent interviews with Celebrity Couples have shown a remorseful Volk, acknowledging her mistake and expressing a desire to move forward positively.
Amidst the ongoing discussions about the leniency of her sentence, Volk's forgery of a vaccination passport to bypass travel restrictions has sparked debates among the public, particularly in the realm of celebrity news and gossip.
