Science fiction saga - Natalie Portman is "open" to another "Star Wars" movie
Oscar winner Natalie Portman says she would love to star in another "Star Wars" film. "I'm open to it," said the 42-year-old on the program "Watch What Happens Live". However, there have not yet been any concrete talks about it, according to Portman. "Nobody has asked me."
Portman played Padmé Amidala in Episodes I to III of theStar Wars films from 1999 to 2005. Her colleagues from those films, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, have since returned to their roles as Jedi Master and scoundrel Darth Vader for the mini-series "Obi-Wan Kenobi", among others.
Portman also reported how the current King Charles III apparently had no idea of her age at the premiere of her first "Star Wars" film - or of the age of the original trilogy (1977 to 1983):"Prince Charles - he was Prince Charles at the time - asked me if I was in the originals," said Portman. "I said: 'No, I'm 18! But he was very friendly."

Natalie Portman, known for her role as Padmé Amidala in the "Star Wars" films, expressed enthusiasm for a potential return to the franchise, stating, "I'm open to it." Despite this, there have been no conversations about her involvement in a new movie as of yet. In an unexpected encounter at a movie premiere, Prince Charles expressed his lack of knowledge about Portman's age and the age of the original "Star Wars" trilogy, with Portman revealing, "Prince Charles - he was Prince Charles at the time - asked me if I was in the originals."
People in the USA, just like fans worldwide, are eager to see if Natalie Portman will reprise her role in a future "Star Wars" movie, while Prince Charles remains a fond memory in her career, having interacted with her during the early days of her celebrity.
