Naomi Campbell discusses her maternal life.

After Naomi Campbell became a mother in her 50s, many people wondered if she adopted her children or hired a surrogate mother to carry them. Now, the famous model has confirmed that a different woman actually gave birth to her kids.

In 2021, Naomi Campbell stunned fans when she shared on Instagram that she had a baby girl at age 50. She never shared any additional information about the child. Similarly, when her son was born in 2023, she kept his name a secret. To this day, nobody knows his name.

Because Campbell didn't show a baby bump before giving birth to her daughter or son, people started to talk about whether she had adopted the kids or used a surrogate. At 54 years old, she told "The Times" that it was true she didn't give birth to her children herself. But she didn't reveal any details about the woman or women who helped her.

Campbell also said she's happy being a single mom. "My babies are my whole life," she said. "I'm worried about their future. I hope they grow up in a better world. They come first for me. I'll be there for them when they start school."

Though Campbell only had kids later in life, she worries about younger women who may not think about becoming parents. Even though it's expensive, she believes that having children is important. She pointed out her own mother, who had little money, but still managed to raise her. "It's hard, but it's worth it," Campbell said. "Being a mother is an unbelievable feeling."

Naomi Campbell was born in London to Jamaican ballet dancer Valerie Morris. Her father, whose name is not mentioned on her birth certificate, left her mother when she was pregnant.
