Muslims demonstrate in Hamburg with limited restrictions.

Muslim Interactive, an Islamist group, is urging people to attend a rally in Hamburg. Thousands of individuals heed the invitation. Stringent regulations are in place. The authorities have a significant police force present.

Authorities claim that around 2,300 people participated in a protest held in Hamburg by the extremist group Muslim Interaktiv. The attendees gathered in the St. Georg neighborhood for a stationary rally at the Kreuzweg due to the presence of a heavy police presence in the afternoon.

Unlike the organizer's request, the gathering was only permitted as a stationary event; a march was not approved. Based on a reporter's observations, nearly all the participants were men. To ensure compliance with nine conditions, the assembly authorities issued them at the start of the event in German and Arabic.

The authorities deployed various security measures at the edge of the gathering, including water cannons. Additionally, small counter-demonstrations took place nearby.

Prohibited at the rally were any expressions of hatred or violence, denial of Israel's right to exist, and damage or burning of Israeli flags. Following the previous event, where signs read "Caliphate is the solution," the authorities banned the call for a caliphate in Germany from being expressed verbally, visually, or in writing. The rally at the end of April sparked widespread outrage in Germany. In response, Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser praised the efforts of the Hamburg police and called for "tough intervention" at events with such sentiments.
