Music tycoon Scooter Braun declares his departure from music management.

Music mogul, who's worked with big names like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato, declared his departure from the music management scene.

Instead of continuing in his music manager role, Braun will now serve as the CEO of HYBE America, a position he assumed after selling his Ithaca Holdings company to HYBE America in 2021. He made the announcement in a social media post on Monday.

"My life has been like Forrest Gump's, witnessing and partaking in the incredible journeys of some of the world's most prodigious talents. I'm always in a state of disbelief, wondering how I got here. After 23 years, this phase of my career as a music manager has come to an end," his statement read.

He further expressed his nostalgia for the past, acknowledging that he started his career when he was just 19.

"For my entire adult life, I was a 24/7 on-call artist manager, and for 20 years, I loved it. It was my entire world," he wrote.

However, with his children growing up, his priorities have shifted.

"My personal life has taken a few hits, and I've come to the realization that my kids are three superstars I'm not willing to lose," he continued.

Braun shares sons Levi and Jagger, as well as daughter, Hart, with ex-wife Yael Cohen.

In 2019, Braun acquired Taylor Swift’s music catalog after Ithaca Holdings bought her former label, Big Machine Label Group, for $300 million. Swift publicly criticized Braun after he later sold her master recordings without giving her the chance to repurchase them. Swift responded by rerecording and re-publishing her music catalog, achieving great success.

Braun became CEO of Hybe America, a South Korean entertainment company managing K-Pop sensation BTS, last year. Following the change, several clients, including Demi Lovato, parted ways with Braun. Some clients, like Ariana Grande, chose to stay with Hybe for business ventures like her REM Beauty line, but transferred the management of their recording and acting careers to Brandon Creed and Good World Management.

Braun concluded his statement with assurances of continued support for his clients:

"I have nothing but love for those I've worked with in the past, and as we transition to a new working relationship, I will always be in their corner to advise and support them, whether it's directly or from afar. Every client I've had the privilege of working with has impacted my life, and I know many are just beginning to see the success they deserve. I will root for each and every one of them."
